Arteriovenous (AV) Fistula is abnormal disorder associated with arteries and veins. Usually, blood flows in order from arteries to capillaries and from capillaries to veins. In this process blood allows nutrients and oxygen to travel from capillaries to tissues in your body but Arteriovenous Fistula restricts less flow of blood to tissues. If neglected this can lead to serious complications.
Some of the symptoms of Arteriovenous Fistula:
- Swelling and redness of skin
- Swelling in arms and legs
- Low blood pressure
- Heart problems
- Fatigue
When should you consult a doctor?
