Biceps Tendinitis is the inflammation in tendons of biceps which is a common cause of shoulder pain due to its position and function. The tendon gets exposed to anterior shoulder as it passes through the humeral bicipital groove and inserts to the superior aspect of the labrum of a glenohumeral joint. Disorders of the biceps are result of impingement or an inflammatory injury.
Some of the symptoms of Biceps Tendinitis:
- Pain or tenderness in front shoulders
- Occasional snapping sound
- Pain when there is movement in the shoulder
