Cataract congenital cerulean Type 3 is a condition of cataract that occurs at birth or soon after. The condition has a characteristic blue color with spot-like opacities radiating from the center of the lens. Type 3 is caused by a defect on chromosome 2q33-q35.
Some of the symptoms of cataract congenital cerulean type 3:-
- Impaired vision
- Bluish dots around the edge of the lens
- White dots around the edge of the lens
- line-height: Opacities like spots radiate from the centre of the lens
