My greatest passion is to help people make peace with their thoughts through therapy and counselling. I work with my clients to help them find a calmer and more structured self. My greatest asset as a therapist is that I'm a good listener; it is vital to provide my clients with a safe space to rest their burdens. Each client is unique, and I use various therapies to help them gain insight into themselves and the issues they face in life.

My aim is to help my clients find a sustainable, long-term solution to an issue by taking immediate steps. I provide immediate feedback, tasks to focus on after the session, and some coping skills. There is nothing as rewarding as helping a client on their journey towards better mental wellbeing!

I believe in working in partnership with my clients to utilize their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals.

My approach is interactive, warm and accepting. It includes various therapies, including CBT, MBCT, Gestalt Therapy, Relaxation, Anger Management, Stress Management, Individual and Couple Counseling, Grief Counseling.

I completed my Post-Graduation in M.Sc. Clinical Psychology from Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar. Before this, I graduated in B.Sc (Hons) Human Development from JD Birla Institute under Jadavpur University (Gold medalist). I have also completed Certified short term courses in Clinical Psychology and Psychometric testing. I have also worked as an intern at Caring Minds, where I observed and conducted various psychometric tests. My internship at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kolkata, taught me to take a detailed case history, mental status examination (MSE), and detailed report writing.

My clients include teens, adolescents, adults, couples and at times, families. I have extensive training in all psychometric testing, including Rorschach Inkblot Test, Y-BOCS, DASS, BDI, STAI Draw a Person Test, Thematic Apperception Test, etc. My area of expertise is helping patients with Mood Disorders (mainly depression, anxiety, stress), Childhood Disorders (especially ADHD and Conduct Disorder), Learning disabilities, OCD, Self-confidence, Self-esteem, Motivation, Relationship issues, Stress, Anxiety.

Apart from my academic experience, I have also worked with a non-profit organization for a long time. This experience changed my outlook towards life and further motivated me to pursue this profession. I had the opportunity to deal with clients of all age groups and various psychological issues.
