Adenocarcinoma is a type of cancer that would affect various organs in the body. “Adeno†means ‘pertaining to cancer’ and “carcinoma†means ‘cancer’. This type of cancers commonly grows on glands and the more likely affects the cervix, breast, stomach, thyroid, pancreas, prostate and more.
Some of the symptoms of Adenocarcinoma:
- Lumps formed in breast (in case of breast cancer)
- Blood in stools and changed bowel habits (in case of colon cancer)
- There may not be particular signs in early stage for other types of cancers
