It was one of the worst ever decision I have had taken in my life. I had corporate insurance and a week before surgery, they asked me share all the documents for cashless treatment and they were supposed to submit request to medi assist (TPA) a day before admission but they have submitted a week before admission. They have not even told me and on top of that they have even mentioned what kind of room I would opt for without my knowledge. Being a corporate insurance policy, i get emails and messages and found how they miss used the insurance. Later on I during admission I opted for a delux room and to my surprise they charged Rs 11,200 per day. Even a single room there costs more than Rs 6000. Even Rainbow or Fernandez does not charge so much. I checked single room and delux room and there was no difference. Since it is admission through insurance, they took maximum advantage. The rooms did not even have intercoms (Phones). There is no dietcian available. Nurses took full advantage of the insurance policy. They filled their inventory by ordering many unwanted medicines and my daughter was only given one or two injections before and after surgery. Even doctor did not visit atleast once before surgery or after surgery but 3 days doctor consultation was charged. The canteen was horrible. Food was very spicy and if you taste the food then you will get tears in your eyes. Generally hospital canteens maintain less spicy and less salty food. The only reason for chosing the hospital is because of the doctor. Narender Kumar is a fantastic pediatric surgeon but he does not have his own hospital. He generally does surgeries either in Ankura Hospital, Banjara Hills branch or Lotus hospital, Lakdikapool. And lastly the most surprising aspect is when the time came for discharge, the insurance department sent only 50% bill for approval to mediassist which they approved. I checked with them and they said medi assist has only approved 50% and suggested me to make payment of remaining amount by cash which I did but the next day, full bill was submitted and 100% amount was approved by mediassist. By this I understood that they wanted to cheat me by asking me to pay cash payment for 50% and when mediassist approved 100% the next day, they wanted to keep that amount as well. Unfortunately they were not aware that mediassist keeps sending emails and messages as it is a corporate insurance. I took up the matter with mediassist and finally hospital sources gave me a post dated cheque as refund for the cash payment I did. I advise to ignore this hospital as room rates are equivalent to 5 star hotel and canteen is horrible. You don't find any shop or restaurant near by. Nurses take advantage along with insurance department. Doctor was not aware of all this when we complained him.

The receptionist is utterly unprofessional and is her own world all the time, she treats customers as she is doing a great favour talking to them.. Doesn't give details as required and we need to ask her everything we have to kept informed upfront.. We had gone their to get a check up for our child but I didn't like the environment one bit right from minute one.. The report for the diagnosis wasnt sent even after 1 week and receptionist doesnt give a care when asked.. I called up for the report of the diagnosis and she says theres a customer whos arguing on the phone.. children hospitals have to children friendly and they need to receive people with a smile but its not a case here.. Disgusting customer experience!!
