This is one of the worst hospital you can think of. To begin with, the cleanliness is very poor where newborns are handled. Second, short of staff. The doctor plans 8 to 10 deliveries in one day. But Punitha george is the only obstretrician and the rest are nurses. So they induce labor with oxytocin for all the patients at the same time. But she wont be attending everyone at the same time. We know normal delivery is good. But once the labor is started if the mother is kept unattended it is critical for both mother and child. It happens very frequently in this hospital. Now let me come to my case. my son was born after 6 hrs of labor and he was kept in NICU immediately. I didnt feed him for 2 days. They didnt tell me what is actually wrong with him. Then the second day they gave the child back, but he had a fits and admitted back to NICU. Even after that the doctor didnt disclose me what is the real condition for him. For 8 more days he was kept in NICU. So in short this hospital is poorly maintained in terms of cleanliness as well as care. Due to short of staff negligence is very common
