Hi, We went to ILBS with the hope to save our brother(45 years) but never knew will lose him altogether. My brother had liver disease(Hepatitis C) but wen we went to hospital he was walking, talking to everyone. we got him admitted to ICU where we were charged whooping 1lakh rupees/day. In the morning, we spoke to him over videoconferencing and he was talking and recognizing us. By evening, they told us my brother has pneumonia and his kidney failed. we can't believe person who was ok in morning, he was put on ventilator and his organs started failing. we were not allowed to meet him even once for 1 whole day wen they quoted him as critical. isn't it our right to see our patient even once? Next day my brother was little better with stable heart rate and urine output(kidney is working). Very prestigious doctor suggested that we should get liver transplant done in less than 24 hours. is it possible to arrange a donor and arrange 25-30 lakhs in less than 24 hours. Next day wen we spoke to doctor she said i told you to get transplant done yesterday. now your patient is critical and its your responsibility. I came across at least 5 families in same hospital who had same story that patients were stable when admitted, now patient has pneumonia and kidney failed and patient is on ventilator. so many patients with exactly same story. something is definitely fishy with the hospital. at last stage before my brother passed away. he was vomiting blood and when we asked to clean his face off blood, response we received was what's d use cleaning when more blood will be vomiting. we are paying 1 lakh per day to hear such a response. Its a disgusting behavior on part of the staff and doctors! By inference to the whole ordeal was Doctors and staff are inhumane. we lost our loving brother with a bitter experience. I am sharing my experience as i really don't want people to go through this hell. We regret taking our brother to ILBS. Request you not to make the same mistake.
