This is to inform about Jupiter Hospital, Consulting doctor and their medical staffs negligence including the pathetic condition of their infection control protocols, resulting in my fathers death at hospital. We admitted our father because of seizures, but this hospital killed him by giving him Sepsis, which was hospital borne because of under mentioned reasons. Here below is the sequence in which the whole thing happened: 1. My father was admitted here 3 months back on 15 November,2018 for a minor Seizure. He was discharged after 7 days with a bill of around 4 lakhs with a diagnosis of Metabolic Encephalopathy on discharge paper. Verbally on inquiring about the cause they said that there was TIA due to a clot. I had some doubt about their diagnosis of root cause because actually these 2 are very different things. Later my doubt about their diagnosis turned true when same problem of my father precipitated again with higher intensity within a span of 1 month. This clearly showed that underlying cause was not properly diagnosed & treated. 2. Hence my father got admitted here on 17 January,2019 in ICU for same seizure complain but at least till admission he was normal when his seizures ended. Later he was shifted to Ward but we observed that he was never like before. He developed Right side Paralysis and remained in Stupor without any response, which was very surprising to us. On enquiring with the NeuroConsultant about this issue, he kept misleading us by giving different diagnosis every time like CJD, Metabolic Encephalopathy, CKD, CVA, Brain Swelling, Infarct etc. No clear underlying cause was told by him with false promise of improvement in few days. Even Thalamic Infarct developed during the course of treatment. 3. The Hospitals epitome of negligence did not stop here. Later during the course of such pathetic treatment and poor diagnosis, my father got Hospital Borne Sepsis because of Consulting doctor, Medical staffs negligence and poor Infection control program and hygiene. We reported all the symptoms to doctor, but he could not identify the root cause and he suggested sedatives to medical staffs just to suppress the symptoms and this kept on repeating for 3 days. On the worst side, the CBC Test which could have indicated about Sepsis(apart from clinical symptoms which the doctor missed) was not done for 5 days(here Doctor lied again that CBC was done 2 days back and everything was normal then). Here I would like to emphasize that this initial Golden Periodof Sepsis Diagnosis and treatment was completely missed by the Neuroconsultant, which could have saved my Fathers life. When my brother (a doctor himself) told us to enquire about sepsis possibility, then NeuroConsultant consulted other Doctors and he was shifted back to ICU, but without revealing exact reasons and severity of his infection. Just because of Poor diagnosis of NeuroConsultant, Jupiter Hospitals Pathetic state of Infection control protocol and Managements apathy despite our repeated reminders, today we are suffering from an irreparable loss of our Fathers life as well as financial burden of 11lakhs. We have all evidences & documents to support our claims and seek Justice. Looking forward for your prompt and strong action, so that such unprofessional money-making hospitals do not ruin someone else life, either emotionally or financially and also from Professional Medical Ethics standpoint. My sister was admitted in the hospital in emergency ward because she got incautious at her office. I reached there in approx 40 min. From outside the hospital looked amazing and I thought that doctors here will also be well experienced and knowledgeable. But this was my misconception, My sister was admitted in the emergency ward and she was given medicine. Doctor called me and told me that she has to be admitted for 2 days and give me list of 12-13 tests to be conducted. Doctor also told my sister that she has problem in her brain, she need to be examined. We were very frighted, But we decided to take 2nd opinion and discharged. The staff was very rude when they came to know that we are discharging. Most Important: Doctor was totally inexperienced(neurologist). He was there only to complete his target by giving the list of tests and admitting without reason. We came to know that my sister is fine, she just had low BP as 2nd doctor from Aditya Birla Hospital properly explained about each and every point. I will suggest not to go to this place ever. They are just the modern goons for looting the innocent people. Govt. should really take some action against these people and punish these hospitals.
