Sevadham Trust, Pune

Two doctors, Dr. K. B. Wadhokar and Dr. S. V. Gore working in Pune district, were early in their careers struck by the vast difference in urban & rural medical care and by the extreme poverty in the rural especially the tribal population. They decided to do their bit and started a small hospital way back in 1969 at Talegaon Dabhade along with some like-minded people, they founded the Sevadham Trust, registered Public Charitable Trust on 15th August, 1978.
