Bowel Cancer is also called colorectal cancer. Bowel cancer begins in the large bowel, so it may also be called as colon or rectal cancer. People aged over 60, taking low fiber meals, overweight, very less exercise of body, alcohol & smoking and family history are at high risk for bowel cancer. The treatments may include surgery to remove cancer affected part of the bowel, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Some of the symptoms of Bowel Cancer:
- Blood in stools
- Change in bowel habits
- Abdominal pain
- Constipation or diarrhoea
- Frequent gas pains
- Severe tiredness
- Vomiting
