Agnosia is neuropsychological disorder to process the sensory information, unable recognize common objects, persons or sounds. There are 3 types of Agnosia: Visual Agnosia, Auditory Agnosia and Tactile Agnosia. Agnosia may be affected by the result of strokes, dementia, neurological disorders, head injury, brain infection or heredity.
Some of the symptoms of Agnosia:
- Unable to recognize people
- Poor reorganization of sounds
- Unable to recognize common objects
