Dr. Panchapakesan Ramachandran

Dr. Panchapakesan Ramachandran is an experienced Cardiologist in Chennai, with almost 30 years’ experience. He specialises in Preventive, Clinical and Interventional Cardiology and is available for consultation at Apollo Hospitals, Greams Lane, where he has been working since 1985.

Dr. Ramachandran did his MBBS from Madras University through Tanjore Medical College in 1977, after which he completed his MD in General Medicine in 1979 from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and further added a DM in Cardiology from the same institution in 1982.

In order to keep himself updated with the latest developments in Cardiology, Dr. Ramachandran regularly attends programmes of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the European Society of Cardiology. He has presented thirty papers at National and International Conferences and regularly makes presentations at conferences of IMA, API and CSI, and also at a number of Pharmaceutical Companies. Dr. Ramachandran is also involved in teaching DNB Medicine and DNB Cardiology students.
