Dr D Mukherjee has over 28 years of experience in the field of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation. He has completed MBBS from Armed Forces Medical College Pune / Pune University, India, MD- MEDICINE from Armed Forces Medical College Pune / Pune University, Indiai, DM–NEPHROLOGY from Post Graduate Institute Of  Medical Education And Research (Pgimer), Chandigarh. He has recieved fellowship from Indian college of Physician, Indian Society of Organ Transplant, Indian Society of Nephrology, American Society of Nephrology.

He has headed the nephrology and transplant units of multiple apex teaching and research institute such as Army hospital (R & R) Delhi and Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.

 

List of his illustrious patients include the Royal Family in Bhutan and successive President of India.

His areas of expertise include Hypertension, Heart Disease, Infectious Disease, Renal Failure, Stone Disease, UTI, Hemodialysis & Peritonial Dialysis.

He is an acknowledged expert in living related, cadavera and across the blood group transplant(ABO).
