Dr. Udaysinh Vitthal Patil is a reputed Physician from Sangli, Maharashtra specialising in Gastroenterology.

He completed his MBBS in 1993 from V M Medical College in Solapur and MD in 1998 from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad. He did super speciality (DM) in Gastroenterology in 2002 from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai under guidance of Dr. Prabha Sawant (HOD and Professor). Dr. Patil has also obtained DNB (Gastroenterology) in 2002 from National Board of Examination, New Delhi. He gained further work experience and refined his skills by pursuing post DM Fellowship under guidance of internationally acclaimed Endoscopist Dr. Amit Maydeo.

Dr. Patil is the proud receiver of Gold Medal which was awarded in 2002 by President Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam and Hon’ble Minister Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, for his outstanding and continual performance in DM (Gastroenterology).

He is presently attached to Pratibha Digestive and Endoscopic Centre situated in Sangli which is a 20 bedded Hospital known for providing best treatment for all diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver. Hospital is also equipped with endoscopy room with facility of diagnostic & therapeutic gastroscopy, colonoscopy & ERCP, diagnostic & therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound, pathology lab and liver clinic.

Dr. Patil takes keen interest in research. He has presented his work in many papers at local and state level Gastroenterology Conferences. In the past, he has published his investigations in international publications, and Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology. He has also performed live demonstrations in various national & international endoscopy conferences and workshops that promote continual medical education.
