Dr. Mukul Rastogi is a senior Consultant with the Department of Hepatology & Gastroenterology and the Department of Transplant Hepatology at Fortis Hospital, Noida – a centre catering to a high volume of patients from within the country and abroad.
Dr. Rastogi’s principal medical education has been accomplished at SMS Medical College, Jaipur. On completion of MBBS, Dr. Rastogi pursued MD (General Medicine) under the able guidance and supervision of his mentors, Professor and Head Dr. Kunal Kothari & Professor Dr. P D Khandelwal. Subsequently in 2001, Dr. Rastogi completed his DNB (Medicine) affiliated to National Board, Delhi followed by DM (Gastroenterology& Hepatology) where he learnt valuable basic medical and technical skills under the wings of Professor and Head Dr. R R Rai, Professor Dr. S Nepalia.
In the initial years of his career, Dr. Rastogi received the privileged opportunity to serve at renowned institutions in Delhi such as Indraprasth Apollo Hospital and GB Pant Hospital & Maulana Azad Medical College thereby cementing his foundation in his field of speciality. At Fortis Hospital (Noida), Dr. Rastogi has been involved in the perioperative management of over 650 liver transplant patients as the chief Hepatologist. He has performed a wide range of endoscopic procedures (including managing post-transplant biliary leaks and biliary strictures by means of ERCP). Dr. Rastogi holds special interest and experience in endoscopic management of chronic calcific pancreatitis.
Dr. Rastogi is associated with a significant list of publications and CME programs. He is the recipient of Bharat Jyoti Award, an award presented to him for his outstanding professional work by IFSS at the hands of the Honourable Governor of Assam and Tamilnadu in 2011.
