Dr. B Madan Mohan

Dr B Madan Mohan is a Senior Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist at Fortis Malar Hospital in Chennai. His medical qualifications include an MBBS, which he obtained in 1991 from Madras University, and an MD from Madras Medical College in 1997. Dr. Madan Mohan then went on complete his DM in Cardiology from Shri Ramchandra Medical College and Research Institute in the year 2005.

Dr. Madan Mohan spent a year as Registrar in the Department of Cardiology at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, and also served as Registrar in the Department of Cardiology at Malar Hospital, Chennai, for three years. He was also Consultant in Medicine at the latter hospital, for a year.

Apart from his current post at Fortis Malar, which he took up in 1999, Dr. Madan Mohan has worked as a Consultant Cardiologist at the following hospitals in Chennai: Ranga Hospital (Mandaveli), MERF (RA Puram), Harvey Hospital (Alwarpet), Swaram Hospital (Thiruvanmiyur), and Dr. AR Hospital (Adyar and Egmore).

Dr. Mohan has made a number of presentations in his field, at national and international events and conferences. He is a member of several medical associations and also teaches at Balaji Medical College (Chennai), and India Diabetes Research Centre. He is a recipient of the Best Doctor Award from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University.
