  2. Successful Beating Heart Bypass surgery in a case of Dextrocardia……(Patient had a reversed heart by birth on right side of chest instead of the left). Only two such operations have been done in India till date & less than 40 surgeries of this kind of reported in the whole world literature.

Bloodless Triple Heart Surgery done in a Nigerian boy (9 yrs. old)…..Dr Mitesh Sharma & cardiac surgery team at Metro Heart successfully operated on this boy in which:(i) Hole in the heart (VSD) was closed(ii) Leaking valve replacement done (AVR) &(iii) Abnormal blood connection (PDA) was closed.This complex surgery was done without giving any blood, as the child belonged to the “JEHOVA WITNESS” community which strictly prohibits use of blood.
