Dr. Ashif Ali Ahmed is a Senior Gastroenterologist from West Bengal. He has more than 20 years of rich experience in treatment of Gastrointestinal tract and liver of human body.

He completed medical graduation from R G Kar Medical College and post graduation in Medicine from the prestigious IPGMER. Dr. Ahmed further pursued DM (Gastroenterology) in 2007.

Dr. Ahmed is the Head of Gastro Department since 2008 in The Mission Hospital, Durgapur, a superspeciality healthcare centre, serving the masses with international quality and advanced technology. He is also available for consultation at his private gastro care clinic in Barasat, West Bengal.

In the past, Dr. Ahmed was associated with West Bengal Health Services. He joined as RMO of Medicine in NRS Medical College. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in R G Kar Medical College.

He is actively involved in research and regularly publishes his work in leading gastro journals.
