Dr. Chandrashekhar Vasantrao Patil

Dr. Chandrashekhar Patil is an eminent Cardiologist from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. 

He accomplished his MBBS with first class in 1990 from Government Medical College, Miraj. He did his MD (General Medicine) from Shivaji University and stood first in 1993 batch. Dr. Patil further pursed DNB (Cardiology) from National Board of examination, New Delhi in 1996. He also accomplished DM (Cardiology) in 1997 from TN Medical College and Nair Hospital affiliated to Mumbai University.

Dr. Patil has been associated with some of the renowned and well known Hospitals in the department of Cardiology. He worked as Clinical Associate in Cardiology for a year in P D Hinduja Hospital. He then joined LTMG College & Sion Hospital as Lecturer and worked there for about a year. His major stint was with CPR General Hospital where he served as an Honorary Interventional Cardiologist for 8 years. 

Dr. Patil is presently working as Consultant Invasive/ Non-Invasive Cardiologist and Director of cath lab at Shri Sai cardiac centre since 2001. Shri Sai Cardiac Centre (A unit of Mahalaxmi Hrudayalaya Pvt. Ltd.) was established by Dr Chandrashekhar Patil in the year 2002 which is now a 60 bedded full- fledged hospital with facilities of the state of the art ICU, cath lab, cardiac surgery, 24 hour primary angioplasty program, high risk non cardiac surgeries and 24 hour emergency service. Hospital is stationed with 3 cardiologists, one cardiovascular surgeon, one cardiac anesthetist, 4 physicians and one radiologist as full time consultants and 15 other visiting consultants.

Shri Sai Cardiac Centre was established by Dr. Patil with a view to address Heart ailments which is one of the major health problems being faced by the country. Hospital, in association with Jeevandai Scheme of Government is committed towards the society by providing free cardiac interventional procedures and cardiac surgeries free of cost to the poor and needy patients.
