Dr. Jawed Ahmed

One of the senior doctors from Lucknow city with around three decades of professional experience, Dr. Jawed Ahmed offers expert services in Diabetes and Pulmonary Medicine.

His educational qualifications comprise of MBBS and MD (Medicine) degrees. While completing his residency from The Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS-BHU), Varanasi, Dr. Ahmed obtained valuable experience in his field. He then settled in Middle East for a period of two years before returning to his home soil, India where he has been practicing ever since.

Inorder to hone his skills in the area of specialization, Dr. Ahmed has undergone some additional training programs in PFT, Allergy Testing and Bronchoscopy, workshop on Critical Care and PG course conducted by American Diabetic Association.

Since the past 8 years, Dr.Ahmed has been in charge of the DNB course at Vivekananda Polyclinic and Institute of Medical Sciences Centre, Lucknow where he is the Head of the Department of Family Medicine. His extensive experience has been a source of immense guidance to the DNB students during completion of thesis. Dr. Ahmed disseminates his wealth of knowledge through articles published in reputed journals.

Besides being associated with Vivekananda Polyclinic and Institute of Medical Sciences Centre, Dr. Ahmed also visits Simin Polyclinic, Lucknow in the evening hours, between 6 pm to 10 pm from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm. However, appointments are a pre-requisite before visiting the clinic.
