Dr. Partha Pratim Roy is a Senior Consultant, practising in the field of Psychiatry for the last 35+ years. He holds an MBBS degree from RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata, and a DPM (postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Medicine) from Calcutta University. Dr. Roy currently functions as Consultant Psychiatrist to Shree Jain Hospital & Research Centre and Sanjiban Hospital in Howrah. He has his private clinic in Andul-Mouri, and also visits other centres in Howrah district, as detailed elsewhere on this website.

Dr. Partha Pratim Roy is a Life Fellow of the Indian Psychiatric Society and the Indian Association of Private Psychiatry. He is a Past President of the Indian Psychiatric Society (WB State Branch) and Indian Association of Private Psychiatry (WB State Branch). Apart from his professional affiliations, he is also attached to several social and cultural organisations.
