Dr. Shalini Jaggi is a Diabetologist based in New Delhi, and currently a Consultant Director & Diabetologist at Lifecare Diabetes Centre, Kirti Nagar, New Delhi. A firm believer in holistic diabetic care, she is well-versed in all aspects of diabetes management, with Gestational Diabetes, Type 1 Diabetes and Severe Insulin Resistance being her areas of special interest.

Dr Jaggi has been working exclusively in the field of diabetes for more than a decade. Subsequent to graduating (MBBS) from Mumbai University in 1998, she received extensive training in diabetes at Dr. Mohan's Diabetes Specialities Centre in Chennai and Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, USA. Dr. Jaggi also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes from Cardiff University, UK, as well as a Diploma in Endocrinology from the University of South Wales, UK. She has special certified training in CSII Insulin Pump and CGMS and has also done observership training at the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the University of BufFalo, The State University of New York, USA.

A dynamic orator, Dr Shalini Jaggi has been involved in spreading diabetes awareness through various media. She regularly participates in chat shows on diabetes on various TV channels such as India TV, Total TV, CNBC, Zee News and Haryana News. She has written numerous articles in print and electronic media and conducts camps in public places and the corporate sector. For this, she has been honoured by Punjab Kesari Senior Citizens Club and other NGOs. Dr. Jaggi has also been a member of the faculty and a speaker at various CME programmes. Further, she has been involved in teaching programmes for students, paramedical staff, and general physicians. She has also authored and published several articles on various aspects of diabetes and its management in various print and online media and magazines, both national as well as international. She has numerous publications in various peer-reviewed medical journals and has contributed chapters to various textbooks on diabetes. She was honoured by the Fellowship of the RSSDI (India) as well as the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) for her exemplary commitment to the field of diabetes.
