Dr. Veerappa A Kothiwale holds the titles of Professor and Head of Medicine at the JN Medical College and Chief Consultant Physician at the KLES Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Belgaum. Having joined JN Medical College in 1991 as Assistant Professor, and was in charge of the Cardiology department looking after all the diagnostic facilities and the ICCU up until 1996, before taking on his current responsibilities.
