Dr. O P Kapoor laid the foundation of this most advanced eye centre of all times. The tradition is carried forward by his son, Dr. Shashi Kapoor, an expert eye surgeon and a medical professor at Grant Medical College, Mumbai and J J Group of hospitals, Mumbai.
Dr. Shashi Kapoor who is responsible for running the centre, besides being a private practitioner is also a professor at Grant Medical College and performs the largest number of lasik surgeries in Maharashtra.
