We would like to take this opportunity to provide information about our history and services Medicare Clinic of Calgary. Medicare Clinics of Calgary was established in 2013. We are a group of clinics, currently consisting of four locations serving communities in NE, NW, and SW Calgary. (Walk-in Clinic Country Hills Calgary NW, Medical Clinic Royal Oak Calgary NW, and Medical Clinic Westhills Calgary SW), Our team consists of both male and female doctors and currently has 29 doctors and 37 staff across our four clinics. We accept new patients as well as walk-in patients and presently see a volume of 500+ patients collectively per day.
Pediatricians are doctors who manage the health of your child, including physical, behavior, and mental health issues. They’re trained to diagnose and treat childhood illnesses, from minor health problems to serious diseases.
An internist (doctor of internal medicine) is a medical doctor that specializes in the diagnosis and medical (nonsurgical) treatment of adults. Internists provide long-term, comprehensive care, and manage common and complex diseases.
Psychiatry is the branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in mental health, including substance use disorders.
A pain specialist or pain management specialist is a medical doctor (M.D.) or doctor who specializes in pain medicine. Pain medicine is a medical specialty that focuses on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of pain.
"These guys went above and beyond for our family tonight despite being understaffed and extremely busy. From the gentleman at the front desk to the doctor and pediatrician on shift, we received the best care. They went out of our way to squeeze our 10 month old daughter in that we were very worried about, even though they were no longer taking patients, as they’d had a doctor call in sick. We really felt like they all cared and it was a team effort. Yes, you may normally have to wait long (what clinic doesn’t have long wait times?) but these guys are worth it."
