Hearing Aid

Hearing aid is a battery operated electronic device that can amplify sound as well as speech to help a hard of hearing person to hear more clearly and also help to,improve communication & quality of life..We dispense all types of digital hearing aids e.g.-B.T.E.(Behind the ear),I.T.E.(In the ear),I.T.C(In the canal),C.I.C(Completely in the canal),IIC(Invisible in the canal),Body Worn along with scientific counselling and best after sales service.We have a system of dispensing of hearing aids in a scientific way in which the hearing impaired person will be benefited & comfortable.At first we determine the accurate degree & type of hearing loss through Audiometry test of a person.Then we select the hearing aid according to the need,budget,style of the patient.We do the hearing aid programming through HI-PRO/WIRELESS Programmer according to the patient audiogram then aided audiogram and aided speech audiometry test which is very much essential to find out the aided hearing performance and understanding of speech sounds before dispensing and fitting the hearing aid.We sell all types of hearing aid of all reputed foreign brand like WIDEX,UNITRON,RESOUND,AUDIO SERVICE,PHONAK,OTICON,SIEMENS and indian brand ALPS etc.The hearing aid is necessary for following reasons-

Hearing tests for Adult & Children

Audiometry(Pure tone/Speech/Special)

Above tests are done to detect the hearing level of a person or determine the cause,type,degree,site of hearing loss of a person with hearing impairment.These tests help to detrmine possible treatments & fitting suitable hearing aid.

Tympanometry

This test is done to analyse the  ear drum & middle ear status.

Free Field Audiometry & Brain stem Evoked Response Audiometry(BERA)

Above tests are done to determine hearing threshold of an infant or a person with behavioral problem who can not co operate with routine audiometry test.BERA test also help to find the intigrity of inner ear & auditory nerve upto mid brain.

Oto-Acoustic Emission Test 

This test is mainly done to detect if hearing loss is present or not,This test is very safe & take very short time & can be done at new born baby to Old age person.

Speech & Voice Therapy

We have special arrangement for speech & language therapy for the cases of Delayed Speech&Language Development(DSL),Misarticulation of speech,(Unntelligible Speech),Stammering,Developmental Language Disorder like Autism,Learing disability.Mental Retardation,Neurological disorders like Aphasia,Dysarthia,Cerebral Palsy etc,all types of voice disorders like Puberphonia,Dysphonia and alteration of voice etc.Please check out the Speech Therapy page for details information.

Balance Tests

Electronystagmography(ENG),Caloric Test,Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential Test(VEMP)

Any disorder in our balance organ(Vestibule & Semicircular canal including vestibular nerve) can cause Vertigo,Dizziness,Imbalance sensation.Above tests are used to determine if any pathology is present in balance organ or Central nervous system of brain .

Tinnitus Retraining Therapy(TRT)

Tinnitus is not a disease, but a symptom that can result from a wide range of underlying causes: abnormally loud sounds in the ear canal for even the briefest period (but usually with some duration).Above therapy can help to reduce the intensity and duration of tinnitus and very much helpful for the patient suffering from tinnitus.
