Dear Patient: Hello, yes you have to send his fundoscopic pictures if they are provided by the doctor you consulted.(because not every hospital can provide them).
And another important point is that , you didnt mention the extent of injury to the eye ,if there is any alteration of vision or any discharge from the eye, because if it is just a superficial injury that is, if there is no alteration in vision like blurring of vision, blood discharge from eye, photophobia or any continous serous discharge from the eye.because all these symptoms can be seen in sympathetic opthalmitis where if not addressed in two days the eye will be completely lost, and at times this condition can be seen if the injured eye is completely normal ,so we cant take a chance of by not taking it seriously just because everything appears normal in first two days.
The patient has to consult a good opthalmologist ,and undergo opthalmoscopy and slit lamp examination.
only if both of them are normal ,then it means that he can take some time before his next visit.take care.
