Dear Doctor: ?

Dear Patient: You stated that you are suffering from bronchitis and asthma. Asthma is due to the hyperreactivity of the airways to any allergen like dust pollen, dander, hair, cold etc. whereas bronchitis is the inflammation of the larger bronchi due to infection. Its a good sign that your asthma subsided. But you need to be alert for the symptoms can come up any time in Winters. Be prepared and avoid allergens. Along with asthma, bronchitis can occur and it can be cured. The symptoms wean off slowly.and as you stated, you have hemoptysis. So don't worry as out will reduce slowly. But if you continue to experience that get it checked by a Respiratory physician and take proper antibiotics. You might need a sputum check for diagnosis
