Acne and hyper pigmentation

Dear Patient: Acne will be due to the accumulation of sebaceous secretions of the face and blockage of the pores of sebaceous glands. So for an oily skin constant cleaning and patting dry along with hygiene maintenance helps. If infected, acne will develop and infect and then heal with scar formation. Apply antibiotic ointments in the market that prevent infection and faster healing is allowed. Donot constantly touch or pierce them. Retenoids will prevent acne formation albeit with some side effects. Post acne scars can be faded off early by applying whitening creams available in chemist shops. But all medications to be availed on a dermatologist's advice. Regular products in the market may harm the skin.
