blood dysentery with abdominal pain

Dear Doctor: ?

Dear Patient: Dysentery is the passage of blood and mucus with stools caused by many bacteria and viruses. Fresh blood indicates that there is bleeding point active in the intestines. Usually a good antibiotic course will suffice for its complete treatment. Black stools will be due to the remnants of the bleeding. But this may last only a few days. If still you have continuous black stools then it could be due to a point of bleeding higher upto the stomach such as a Peptic ulcer caused by these infecting bacteria. As the digested blood is black in colour, you experience black stools. Consult a good Gastroenterologist for further follow up.

Thanks for your invaluable reply. Now my stools are normal with little black stools. But main problem still remains is my stomach's heaviness. Shall it be f4 some longer duration or it is part of dysentery only. Will it take time to be disappeared??
