Dear Patient: Since you are 57 years old it is the age prone for the diseases of heart. In your ECG as you have stated Sinus Rhythm implies that the rhythm of heart beat is normal that is heart rate , heart sounds, and their sequence is normal. Secondly, the term Suspect Anterior Myocardial Infarction? (V2) implies that there is suspicion of having Anterior Myocardial Infarction . Myocardial Infarction implies the damage to the muscular walls of the heart due to decreased blood supply to the concerned wall; and in your case it is the suspicion of decreased blood supply to the anterior walls of the heart. V2 implies the second electrode in which it is observed. There is not a need to be aorried as there is just a suspected anterior wall damage which could be minimal. So please get it confirmed by other tests like 2d-Echocardiogram. The blood supply to the walls of heart (mainly the Left Ventricle) will be blocked due to the accumulation of fatty deposits made of cholesterol(called as Atherosclerotic Plaques) on the inner lining of the blood vessels which increases in size gradually resulting in partial obstruction first to complete blockade of blood supply; resulting in infarction of heart walls.
