Unfortunately cholangiocarcinoma ( bile duct cancer ) is a rare form and a very aggressive form of cancer. Treatment options depend upon staging, and stage 4, you practically try to improve the quality of life of the patient.
A stent may be put in place, for relieving the blockage and hence her symptoms and jaundice will go.
For chemotherapy, you can consult your oncologist regarding the drug Cisplatin. It can be used in combination with other anti neoplastic drugs such as Methotrexate for better chances of survival.
