Can you kindly put a detailed medical history for me to get a clearer picture? Since how long has she been suffering from this issue? Has a diagnosis been made till now? Any CT or MRI scan done?

For instance even most severest forms of dementia ( Alzheimer's for example ) can be treated by cholinsterase inhibitors such as Rivastigmine or Galantamine. The issue is they work in some patients, in certain cases they don't.

Regarding conservative care, recent studies claim Cognitive Behavioral therapy may be helpful, but more research is required.
