Dr. Anand Khakhar is a gifted and innovative liver transplant and hepatobiliary Surgeon. As a program director of the Center for Liver Disease & Transplantation, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, India., he has developed a highly successful program for liver transplantation in India. This program has completed nearly 400 liver transplants in India with more than 90% success rate and is at the fore-front of  expanding the horizons of organ transplantation in India. This centre is a one stop shop for all the needs of liver disease patients and for those with pancreas, small bowel, multi-visceral transplantation, hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery, while ensuring that they remain at the forefront of innovative care.
