Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Thakur

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Thakur is a leading Gastroeneterologist in Patna providing comprehensive and compassionate care to many patients for a wide variety of gastrointestinal and liver conditions. He has over a decade of experience building a clinical and endoscopic skillset that allows him to deliver patient-centric care. He is currently practising at the Gastrocare clinic located at Kumar Ranjan Enclave on Kankarbagh Main Road in Patna.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Thakur received his MBBS and MD (General Medicine) degrees from Patna Medical College, affiliated to Patna University, in the years 1995 and 2001 respectively. With his passion into Gastroenterology, he moved to Mumbai where he studied and was trained at the Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital for the DM (Gastroenterology) degree. He received his DM degree in Gastroenterology from the University of Mumbai in 2005.

Dr. Thakur worked as a Research Officer at BYL Nair Medical College, Mumbai, from February 2005 to June 2005. He also worked as a Lecturer at LTM Medical College in Sion, Mumbai, in the period 2005-06. He has several publications to his credit in the Indian Journal of Gastroenterology and the Journal of Digestive Endoscopy, to name a few.
