Dr. Srilatha was adjudged the best outgoing student in her undergraduate medical studies with 9 Gold Medals. She, then did her DNB (O&G) from the same institution. She did her Advanced and Ambulatory Hysteroscopic Surgery, from the Royal College of Gynecologists, UK, as well as IVF, Reproductive Medicine and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, from the same institution. She did her Pelvic USS Certification, from the British Fertility Society, and the CCT (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in O&G), RCOG and GMC, UK. She has also completed  Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning  (FFPRHC) Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare, UK. After doing her MRCOG from the UK, she also did her Diplomate in family planning and sexual health. 

Before taking up the present assignment, Dr. Srilatha was Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Revive Clinics during 2013 - 2014; she was Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Infertility at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust during 2012 - 2013; she was the Senior Registrar at National Health Service during 2002 - 2012; Senior Resident at Kamineni Hospitals, Hyderabad and E V Kalyani Hospital, Chennai between 2001 - 2002.
