Govt. Cancer Hospital, Aurangabad (GCHA) is the first ever Govt. Institution under Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra, started with an aim to establish a comprehensive cancer centre, providing the much-required oncology care to the population of Marathwada region & Northern part of Maharashtra state.
The main objective of Government Cancer Hospital is not only to provide comprehensive cancer care but also to develop as a Research and Training Centre of international standards. GCHA is located at the centre of Aurangabad town. At present GCHA has around 110 in-patient bed strength which is expected to be increased to 300 in near future.
