High blood pressure

Dear Doctor: ?

Dear Patient: Beta blocker is generally stopped when your heart rate goes below 60/minute. You can stop the beta blocker suddenly and start the treatment like given to you. There are many good drugs to control the blood pressure. The treatment depends upon the individual patient and some times on the personal preference of the treating physician. Your blood pressure is likely to be due to psychological stress.
