High blood pressure

Dear Doctor: ?

Dear Patient: The answer to your question is your symptoms are not related to thyroid disorder. Symptoms you are describing could be seen in patients with overactive thyroid gland but your blood test is only marginal below normally limits. What are the Free T4 and Free T3 levels? In symptomatic overactive thyroid patients, I usually see the TSH to be <0.05. Thyroid blood tests can be marginally abnormally if you have any other illness which we call as sick euthyroidism. You may wish to consult an endocrinologist to be reassured and to exclude any other conditions which could be giving you these symptoms.
