Patient is an elderly male with severe renal failure and needs to initiate dialytic support. In view of his age and associated cardiac status peritoneal dialysis is a better option than hemodialysis. However it is better to consult a nephrology specialist for the same.

My grandfather wants to come to you as he heard from one of his relative that there is alternative treatment beside life long peritoneal dialysis.He is demanding that one of his kidney is in small shaped and the other one is normal so you the guys can make that small kidney to return to a good shape and that'swhy he is not listening to specialist doctors of here and not taking any dialysis.So please tell me what to do now and do you guys have any other form of treatment beside peritoneal dialysis.Please give us a clear decision considering all the facts.Thanks.
