Dear Patient: Thank you for the question. Please understand HIV infection is not as immediate as you think. HIV infection takes about 2 to 3 months to start showing any symptoms, so please do get worried with the symptoms you have now.In my opinion if you had safe protected sex, then there are very less chances of getting infected. However, to clear out your mind you can go for monthly blood tests for three to four months to confirm the same.

i recovered from the viral fever after a week and i tested for hiv 1-2 after 25 days .IT came back negative..I am suffering from gastritis also.. Any other indiciation of other viral illnesses in circulation this summer that can cause similar effects?
