I have been takin birth control pill from past 8-9 months

Dear Patient: Yes ,missing a pill for more than 24 hours will increase the risk of conception by 80%.
So ,there is a fair chance for your missed period to be because of conception.
Now,if you are not willing to continue your pregnancy then you can get the first trimester abortion which has good success rate and less complication rate.
Make sure that you get your abortion done ,within first month of your pregnancy.
The later you would get it done the higher are the complication rates ,and it shouldn't be done after 20 weeks.So ,take care.
