How to increase sperm count?

This is a known fact that if a couple that has been trying to conceive for a long period of time feels that there is something wrong. Fertility issues raise due to the assumptions and men are also not forgiven. People quickly come to conclusions at the time of assessing the fertility of the couple.

When your partner feels that his sperm count is not enough or at a high rate there are some things to do that might increase the rate. There is no need to worry about it. There is no problem unless you have tried to conceive for almost a year now. In case the time is more then you can approach a doctor.

The misconception of improving the sperm count is by thinking about the production of semen quantity at the time of ejaculation. The quantity of semen doesn’t give you the right count for sperm as semen is only the fluid and doesn’t let you know the sperm contained in a sample. To get to know the sperm count a man has to look at the semen sample under the microscope.

There is a misconception that an uncircumcised penis affects fertility. As circumcision is removal of foreskin there is no relation between fertility and circumcision.

Even if a person with great interest and sex drive may not have good sperm count.


If a Man Considers the Following The Sperm Count May Be Increased:

Quit smoking: smoking has many negative effects on a person’s body right from cancer to reduction in sperm count. Smoking affects the overall health. People who smoke have less fertility than people who don’t. So if you are trying to have children and if you smoke it is better to quit smoking in order to conceive.

Quit alcohol or drugs: too much of alcohol consumption and drug abuse will also lead to less sperm count as this will impair fertility. If you consume more than 4 drinks a day you may not only have problem with sperm count but also sexual drive. There will be issues in erection and sexual dysfunction.

Healthy lifestyle: healthy diet and a regular exercise is always good for overall health. You need to have diet that is rich in vitamins and nutrients. . For this fruits and vegetables should help a great deal. The antioxidants that are present in fruits and vegetables help you improve fertility. Managing body weight is also an important issue. People who are overweight may have problems infertility.

Have sex: there is no relation between having too much sex and reduction in sperm count. Some people assume that having too much sex will reduce the sperm count. This is not true. If you don’t have sex the quantity may increase but the quality of the sperms will not be good enough to conceive. Every time the person ejaculates it helps to build new and healthy sperms. If you have sex in the mornings it will be beneficial as the sperms count is high and of good quality as well.
