The Muslim Welfare Society Bardoli is a charity registered non-profit organization. We are located in Bardoli, District-Surat, South Gujarat, India.
The trust was formed by the Muslim community of Bardoli, with the intention to provide medical services at subsidized rates to the the economically less privileged people without considering cast, creed, sex or religion.
The trust made a humble beginning by creating a Medical Clinic in one room to serve patients in 1978. As time passed, the demand for the service from the patients increased. The trust converted the Clinic into Jamnaba Sarwajanic Hospital in 2011 with quality health care at low or no cost. This was a medical service within the immediate locality, with a simple aim and objective.
The Hospital land was donated unconditionally by Mr Ramesh Mali and Muslim Welfare Society Bardoli named after his late grandmother – “Jamnaba”.
The “Jamnaba” naming of the Hospital is a symbol of unity; a strong bonding of the Muslim and Hindu communities in Bardoli, which sets an example for brotherhood, peace, harmony, and a healthy relationship as Jamna is a Hindu name and the Hospital is managed by the Muslim community.
