But unfortunately there can be multiple reasons for the same. Unless I see the entire Liver function test report (Total Bilirubin, direct bilirubin, Indirect bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT and Alkaline phosphatase reports) it is very difficult to guide you regarding further course of action. Please get back to me with all these reports so we can figure out whether it is a medical cause or a surgical cause for increased bilirubin.
