1) Yes, Calcitonin Salmon can be taken by a patient suffering from both hypothyroidism and hypertension. It is a safe drug ( a compound found in salmons, hence the name, works by increasing bone density and thickness.) It works well in post menopausal women, where estrogen is not an option.

2) Once you initiate, you should not stop the medicine. And there is no interaction between calcitonin salmon and other regular medicines. So do not worry.
