Dear Patient: You have not mentioned for what ailment you were prescribed steroids. Though not recommended generally, sometimes steroids are the only choice. It is the advantages over the adverse effects that decides its usage. Women can have calcium loss as a side effect. Topical preparations are not harmful and oral or injectable forms have side effects. Consult a good physician in case of any side effect.

I am consulting a neurologist in Aditya Birla pune. I have visited many physicians and neurologists. My MRI has shown increase lesions and now is in my spine too.. Therefore my doc is saying not to delay.. I have 3 big lesions in my spine and in my brain also the number of lesions has increased.
