Dr. Gopichand Mannam is one of the prominent cardio-thoracic surgeons of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

After finishing his medical school from the Guntur Medical College, Dr. Gopichand went to the UK for further studies in general surgery. He obtained his FRCS in general surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 1986, and from the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow in 1987.

Dr. Gopichand Mannam opted for and underwent training in cardio-thoracic surgery from some of the renowned institutions in Glasgow and London. He returned to India and worked at Medwin and Care Hospitals for some time as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon.

Dr. Gopichand Mannam is now working as Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Star Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. He has the distinction of having performed more than 12,000 heart surgeries.
