Lotus Children's Hospital is the brainchild of Dr. V. S. V. Prasad, who is the C.E.O. of the hospital. The very idea of setting up such a beautiful hospital for children was born over two decades ago. During his tenure in the United Kingdom and the United States, he trained in some of the finest hospitals in the world. The wide contrast in children's hospitals in India and those in Western countries prompted him to think about the feasibility of setting up a world-class children's hospital in India, and particularly in Hyderabad.

Through the support and encouragement from the Chairman, Directors of the company, and family, his dream of creating one of the best and finest children´s hospitals was materialized. The construction of the building was done in accordance with the National Building Code, and satisfied all regulatory authorities including Fire Safety, and N. A. B. H. requirements.
